Privacy

PaperTool is a private beta. We store your email, sign-in session, and the documents you upload so we can build a talk and play narration.

Page images and extracted text are sent to Google Gemini for OCR, talk writing, and read-aloud. Do not upload confidential drafts or documents you are not allowed to process.

The same PDF is shared by content hash: if someone else uploads the identical file, they reuse the stored talk. Removing a document from your library forgets it for you; it does not erase the shared result.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) with opaque ids only — no document text, emails, or file names. Browsers sending DNT or GPC skip client events.

To leave, ask the person who invited you. Reply to your invite email for questions.
